MAY (Original)
Oil on Wood 18 x 18” Rounded
The lady in the centre is May, my Mother in Law. My father in law calls her by “Mei” (Beauty) in Cantonese, which is pronounced as “May”. That is also why my mother in law chose May as her English name. The original photograph was taken at Tai Mo Shan, the highest peak in Hong Kong my home country. It has became one of my favourite photos capturing the most significant view from my favourite place and the woman I admire the most.
